Luminate Group (formally Leeds City College Group) is committed to maintaining the Highest Standards of Health and Safety across all Group activities. We are now seeking a Head of Health and Safety to take the Group to the next level. The Head of Health and Safety will be the strategic lead for the central Health and Safety function as well as providing tactical delivery. The Head of Health & Safety will provide a customer focused service across the group academic and support services. Reporting to the Director of Estates and Capital Projects the post holder will be the Groups senior advisor on all Health and Safety related matters and will develop, maintain and promote safe systems of work across the full range of our provision. The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate a track record of working at a similar level, and of driving the Health and Safety agenda in a large complex organisation. Experience of working within the Education sector is highly desirable but not essential.
