Industry Placement Development Officer

Fixed term until July 2020, 28.8 hours per week

HCUC (Harrow College and Uxbridge College), is an early adopter of the new T Level qualifications due to start in September 2020.  An integral part of these qualifications is participation in a minimum 45 days Industry Placement for each learner.  We are seeking to appoint an Industry Placement Development Officer, to develop the Substantial Industry Placements (SIPs) with employers, working in partnership with an external company, and in liaison with curriculum and pastoral staff within the College. 

You will have experience of supporting young people, and will have some experience of target setting, career and progression planning.   You will also need to have excellent administrative, co-ordination and communication skills and will also require strong IT skills, including the ability to maintain a database and produce reports.
