SGS College has a highly successful Counselling Programme Area at our Filton and Stroud campuses and we are looking to recruit a counselling lecturer to join the team.

We are looking for a dedicated person/persons who will be responsible for delivery of the Level 1 and 2 qualification in Counselling. Duties will include organisation and teaching on the course, assessment, preparation and skills feedback.

The successful person will be required to have current supervised client work and a desire to teach others embarking on their counselling training. They will also possess a Diploma in Counselling, knowledge of counselling approaches, particularly humanistic and specifically Person centred is required.

For Level 1 the teaching will take place over 1 day for 10 weeks 3 hours teaching

For Level 2 the teaching will take place over 1 day for 10 weeks 4.5 hours teaching

Expected Interview Date: TBC

The successful applicant will be required to obtain and maintain a satisfactory Disclosure Certificate, Enhanced with Children’s Barred list check, as a requirement of the job.
