We are seeking to recruit two lecturers (one FT and one 0.8) to join us in the development of our provision for young people with severe and complex learning needs. These posts will be to work with young people who are attending college two days a week as part of the Pathway to Adulthood four-day programme which is run at the College and Waddon Youth Centre.

You will need to have a high level of commitment to and experience of working with young people with a range of special education needs, including those with autism, health, physical, emotional and behavioural support needs. You will need to be an outstanding teacher that can plan and use creative, inspiring, learner-centred, personalised strategies and resources to enable learners with complex needs to learn, develop and make progress. You will also need to have a teaching qualification, a positive approach and a commitment to providing the best quality experiences for young people with complex needs.

In return Croydon College offers generous leave, the opportunity to join the Teacher's Pension Scheme and a commitment to your continuing personal development in an environment that encourages excellence, creativity and diversity.

If you would like the opportunity to work with us on developing our new provision and be employed by an organisation that is working towards being an outstanding provider, we would like to hear from you.

In 19-20 these posts will be based at Coulsdon College but you may be required to work at Croydon College as part of your timetable and may be based at either centre in future years as we develop the provision.
