Croydon College is seeking a highly motivated, student-focused lecturer with good administrative skills, to teach on our Access courses in Nursing, Criminology and Psychology, Social Work and Teacher training.

Applicants should have a first degree and post graduate qualification in Psychology.  A background in a related profession would be an advantage.

You would be expected to use a variety of learning strategies, and provide students with appropriate support in accordance with the programme and individual requirements. 

You must have a relevant degree and a recognised teaching qualification, or the willingness to achieve this.  Literacy and Numeracy, at or above Level 2, is also needed.

Our students come from diverse backgrounds and the programme offers access to a wide range of career options. The successful candidate will need to be enthusiastic, organised and flexible. Good interpersonal skills, a willingness to work collaboratively within a small team, and the ability to provide high quality student support are essential. 

The salary is within the range of £26,859 - £35,439 per annum (pro rata) and is dependent on qualifications and experience.  Progression within the scale is performance related.
