Chapman’s Electrical is seeking to recruit an Apprentice to work across various departments; including “White Goods” (cookers, washing machines, tumble dryers etc..), “brown goods” (audio-visual equipment), Aerial, Satellite and Electrical . The role will involve learning to install, maintain and repair products in a wide variety of environments.

This is an ideal opportunity for a good team worker who is self-motivated and seeking a practical career in a technical industry. Our company delivers a broad range of services but this position will focus on the installation, service and repair of a wide range of catering, laundry, general kitchen appliances, audio visual products as well as some exposure to the aerial & satellite and Electrical industries - working for various customers including domestic homes, local authorities, large insurance companies and builders.

Apprentices work as part of a crew gaining first-hand experience of the job but also undertake day release to achieve a recognised industry qualification.  Initially training will focus on domestic gas qualifications but in the longer term there may be the opportunity to undertake qualifications.
