Assistant Special Educational Needs & Disabilities Co-ordinator (Assistant SENDco) 60%

We are seeking to recruit an inspiring and creative person to join our Success Centre Team.  The successful candidate will be part of a highly skilled, dynamic and professional team responsible for high quality teaching, learning and assessment to support the needs of students particularly those with LLDD (learning difficulties and/or disabilities).

A suitably qualified practitioner, the post holder will undertake a range of duties to include annual and interim reviews of EHCP’s, delivery of study support (1 :1 or groups) and GCSE English to students with barriers to learning, identify suitable strategies to support students and teachers in the curriculum, undertake risk assessments and conduct the timely and accurate completion of exam access assessment to meet JCQ guidelines,. You will have the ability and willingness to use emerging technologies to support learning. Accurate record keeping and an eye for detail is essential.
