Careers Leaders

We are looking to recruit a Careers Leader on a full time fixed term 1 year maternity cover contract to join our Enquiries, Advice and Guidance team. This recently developed post is based in the heart of the college focused on offering careers information, advice and guidance to prospective students, delivering customer service excellence.  

The post-holder will be responsible for leading and developing the careers strategy and programme, ultimately achieving the Gatsby Benchmarks by 2021. You will have prior experience working within an education environment and an excellent understanding of the government careers strategy, aims and objectives. You will be qualified in or working towards your Level 6 in Careers Guidance & Development with superb knowledge of career routes and pathways for progression post 16. You will be confident in engaging with parents and students, utilising the jobshop on and offline to encourage careers and progression development for current students, and working with the schools liaison team to deliver IAG to prospective students in the local area.
