This job role is excellent example of that as we are now looking for an Assistant Director of Professional Services to provide leadership and vision to support sector leading services to students, staff and other key stakeholders.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
In this job role, you will play a vital role within the Senior Management Team in achieving the delivery of the best possible student outcomes and experience. You will be responsible for leading and supporting a large team of Professional Services staff.
Reporting to the Deputy College Director, you will work closely with senior colleagues within and outside of the College and be accountable for the delivery of exceptional service provision. Critically you’ll need to carefully balance the requirements of the College alongside the need for consistency and collaboration with the University and Study Group as a whole.
You’ll have leadership and accountability for and direct line management responsibility of a team of Heads of Subject. Consequently, you will have recent successful line academic management experience in a relevant subject discipline and have proven ability to engage with the University of Sheffield in collaborative developments.
EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS
- Previous experience managing Professional Services/Student Services functions within a Further Education or Higher Education environment.
- Experience of providing leadership in a complex multi-disciplinary environment.
- Experience planning and delivering change or continuous improvement.
- Experience of developing or delivering initiatives with a strong customer service and results focus.
- Experience of data management and interpretation, and quality assurance.
- Experience of working across, up and down an organisation as well as with external partners and both national and international stakeholders.
