About the role
This is an exciting new role for a Digital Programme Manager to join our team at DN Colleges Group. You will take overall responsibility for the definition and delivery of a programme of projects to implement the group’s digital strategy and will report directly to the Director of Digital Technologies. This will require forming strong working relationships with stakeholders at all levels across both colleges within the DN Colleges Group.
You will hold a key position in DN Colleges Group and be important to the successful delivery of its strategic aims. You will work closely with a wide-ranging group of stakeholders to ensure that their needs are captured, business processes are reviewed, and digital projects are delivered that deliver tangible benefits to the group.
As part of your role you will apply your knowledge and experience of project management tools and frameworks to plan, monitor and deliver successful digital projects within a dynamic and complex environment with a range of distinct stakeholder groups. You will ensure projects are progressed effectively within often firm deadlines, with a focus on ensuring benefits are realised and stakeholders are supported and engaged.
You will have a first degree or extensive relevant experience. You will have experience of project management in a complex, medium to large organisation, ideally in an educational environment.
The successful candidate will have a toolkit of project management and business analysis tools and frameworks to call upon, and will be able to demonstrate where they have used or tailored these to suit the scale and complexity of specific projects.
You will be a highly literate individual, able to simplify and convey complex technical matters effectively to stakeholders at all levels of the organisation. You will be personable and effective at moderating discussions to reach consensus amongst differing opinions.
This role will require a motivated individual who can work with a good degree of autonomy, effectively prioritising and managing a mixed workload. You will be comfortable working with teams both within your own department and across other areas, and capable of influencing to achieve what you need.
Importantly, you will have genuine enthusiasm to continually learn and update your knowledge about the organisation, the sector, wider good practice and technological developments.
Please note that this post will require working at any of the group’s locations as required, and you will be expected to split your time between Doncaster and North Lindsey colleges.
