PCA continues to foster international partnerships, developing a vibrant culture of scholarship and research, and has recently been awarded Taught Degree Awarding Powers. In 2018, The College established 3 Academic Schools: Arts + Media; Design + Communication; Critical + Cultural Studies.

Forward thinking, PCA is a creative community working across the fields of contemporary arts, design and media, offering pre-degree, undergraduate and postgraduate study with a focus on inquiry-led practice and integrated learning. The College puts the student at the centre of their learning as curious and creative practitioners, and is committed to interdisciplinary dialogue and open resources, providing an exciting context for collaboration, network building, and professional opportunities.

We are seeking to appoint an ambitious learning technologist to join our Learning, Teaching & Enhancement (LTE) Directorate and work in a central role to help deliver our strategic plan. The successful candidate will join our newly formed ‘Learning Lab’ and will work across our entire academic provision from pre-degree to postgraduate programmes. As a member of this highly able team, the successful candidate will support the development of our online infrastructure including the rollout of a new Learning Management System (LMS) and ePortfolio tool. The postholder will help shape our learning analytics strategy, integrate e-assessment into our curricula and develop materials to support our staff students’ success.

The successful candidate will demonstrate a broad range of knowledge and expertise across technological subjects, a commitment to integrating technology into curricula and champion staff and student development. The role will ensure the highest standards of learning, teaching and assessment in support of PCA’s strategic plan.

The Learning, Teaching & Enhancement (LTE) Directorate is led by Dr Mark J.P. Kerrigan.
