As the Team Leader for Lewisham College, you will be responsible for leading and managing a multi-disciplinary support team of high performing individuals. You will be responsible for managing the College's Learning Support.
As a member of the Student Services Management Team, your role will be to assist the Head of Student Services in providing outstanding quality in the Learning Support provision.
You will manage a multidisciplinary team of specialist Student Support staff made up of Learning Support Workers, Learning Support Assessors, Learning Coach, Safeguarding and Wellbeing ensuring delivery of high quality services to students with high needs. In addition to this you will lead in Guidance and Progression providing AIG support for learner progression.
Your role will demand experience in SENDco, Educational Health Care plans, consultations and annual reviews. You will work closely with the ALS funding coordinator to ensure that access to learning support is maximised. To deliver this you will require excellent communication and numerical skills.
We are looking for a committed, well organised, positive and energetic individual who is able to work as part of a team across colleges. You will have knowledge of up to date policies to ensure the college adheres to safeguarding vulnerable and at risk learners inclusively.
