An exciting new opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated, passionate and talented Digital Skills (IT) Lecturer to work within the Department of Digital Skills. You will be joining a well-established team at a very exciting time, as we work together to deliver first class education to all our students.

You must be experienced at delivering the level 3, 4 and 5 programmes covering BTEC IT Level 3 units including Spreadsheets, Database, Software Design development on 16-18 Study programmes, and Higher Education foundation degree in Computing & IT  level 4 and 5 programmes modules covering: Programming, Network Operating Systems, Information Systems, Systems Development Project, Java/Java Script Programming, Database Application Technologies, Database Techniques, Computer Systems & Internet Technologies, Information Analysis, Web Database Applications, Systems Development Project and Work Based Learning.  You must have also have experience teaching the following technologies: Java, JavaScript, SQL Server, ORACLE, MySQL, ASP.net, VB.net, C#, BOOTSRAP, UML Design, Network Operating Systems, Project Management, HTML & CSS.  

The successful candidate will have a full teaching qualification and be educated to at least degree level. You will be required to deliver innovative sessions which engage and enrich the learner experience and would have previously been responsible for managing a course at a similar level. As a Digital Skills Lecturer you must have industrial experience and you should also have knowledge of current curriculum developments in the IT industry and their implication for learning strategies.
