An exciting new opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated, passionate and talented Digital Skills (IT) Lecturer to work within the Department of Digital Skills. You will be joining a well-established team at a very exciting time, as we work together to deliver first class education to all our students.

You must be experienced at delivering the level 2 ,3 and 4 programmes covering Edexcel BTEC IT, City & Guilds units including Network Fundamentals, Network Management and Security, Install Configure and Install Network Hardware and Software, Customer Support, CISCO IT Essentials and CCNA units:- Network Fundamentals, Accessing the WAN, LAN Switching and Wireless, Routing Protocols & Concepts and Computer Systems on our  Foundation Degree programme. You must have experience leading, developing, delivering and managing computer networks programmes in practical hands-on lessons.

The successful candidate will have a full teaching qualification and be educated to at least degree level. You will be required to deliver innovative sessions which engage and enrich the learner experience and would have previously been responsible for managing a course at a similar level. As a Digital Skills Lecturer you must have industrial experience and you should also have knowledge of current curriculum developments in the IT industry and their implication for learning strategies.

An enthusiastic and committed individual you will be able to use online technology in an innovative and effective manner to inspire and motivate our learners to develop their IT knowledge and vocational and study skills enable to them to meet employer expectations.
