We have 2 established University Centres in the DN Colleges Group - University Campus North Lincolnshire (in Scunthorpe) and University Centre Doncaster. We currently have around 2.200 Higher Education students enrolled on a range of undergraduate and postgraduate programmes; this is expected to increase to 2,500 next year across the 2 campuses.
We work with the University of Lincoln, University of Hull and Sheffield Hallam University as awarding bodies and have a rapidly developing portfolio of Higher and Degree Apprenticeship provision.
A range of exciting opportunities for Subject Specialists are now available as we seek to expand our staffing base. These full-time and fractional posts are all focused on higher education teaching and the higher education student experience. Successful applicants would be appointed to DN Colleges Group contracts with one of our campuses as the primary place of work. We may, however, require individuals to undertake some teaching or other scholarly activity at both locations.
The Department of Education, Health and Community Practice at the University Centre Doncaster is seeking to recruit part time lecturers to teach on an expanding portfolio of Higher Education programmes in the Foundation for Counselling and Relationship Studies Department.
The successful candidates will hold a Masters level qualification in Relational Counselling. Applicants must have a broad working knowledge of theories, including Systemic, Psychodynamic and Human Sexuality. They will be in clinical practice, using a range of theoretical interventions, tailored to suit individual clients. We are seeking applicants who are qualified to work with individuals, couples and families and are either members of BACP, AFT or COSRT.
Experience of teaching or training in the counselling sector is essential. These posts will be varied and will involve teaching on-campus and some off-campus delivery.
Applicants should have a broad knowledge of counselling pedagogy and learning, with specialist knowledge and experience of current developments within the Therapy sector.
