We currently have around 2.200 Higher Education students enrolled on a range of undergraduate and postgraduate programmes; this is expected to increase to 2,500 next year across the 2 campuses.
We work with the University of Lincoln, University of Hull and Sheffield Hallam University as awarding bodies and have a rapidly developing portfolio of Higher and Degree Apprenticeship provision.
A range of exciting opportunities for Subject Specialists are now available as we seek to expand our staffing base. These full-time and fractional posts are all focused on higher education teaching and the higher education student experience. Successful applicants would be appointed to DN Colleges Group contracts with one of our campuses as the primary place of work. We may, however, require individuals to undertake some teaching or other scholarly activity at both locations
The Department of Education, Health and Community Practice at the University Centre Doncaster is seeking to recruit three full-time lecturers to teach on an expanding portfolio of Higher Education programmes in the Department of Early Years.
The successful candidates will have a Masters level qualification in a relevant Early Years subject or be willing to undertake a Masters alongside their employment post. Experience of teaching or training in the Early Years sector is essential. These posts will be varied and will involve teaching by Distance Learning alongside on-campus and some off-campus delivery.
Applicants should have a broad knowledge of Early Years pedagogy and learning, but we are seeking in particular applicants with specialist knowledge and experience in the following areas: current policy developments within the Early Years sector, managing children’s services and supporting children with special educational needs.
