Are you working in a Construction trade? Would you like to share your skills and knowledge by training to be an Assessor/Trainer?

Due to the rapid expansion of our Modern Apprenticeship programmes, we are seeking a number of Assessors/Trainers in Joinery.

Inverness College UHI is a partner of the University of the Highlands & Islands (UHI), the largest provider of Modern Apprenticeships in Scotland.

This is an exciting opportunity for people with industry experience to train as Assessors and put their knowledge to use in assessing (and training where required) Modern Apprentices.

We are happy to take applications from people who are already assessors or to provide assessor training to people from the Construction trades.

Assessment and Training is mostly carried out at the Modern Apprentice employer’s workplace, so good communication skills and customer service are essential, as is a current driving licence.

A range of full time and part-time hours are available. As these roles need to be flexible, responding to employer needs, these roles are not restricted to traditional term-times.

Shortlisting will take place on Friday 26th July 2019. If you have not heard from us by Friday 2nd August, unfortunately your application has not been successful.

Please note that feedback will only be given following an interview.

Interviews will be held at Inverness College campus (date to be confirmed).
