Following the creation of Lewisham and Southwark colleges new opportunities have risen for enthusiastic Curriculum Managers to join Lewisham College and manage the day-to-day development of the curriculum portfolio, ensuring it is consistent with College Plans.
The successful post holder will be required to lead, motivate, develop and manage a curriculum team taking responsibility for performance management, personal development and target setting for individuals. To be able to utilise staff resources and maximise efficiency and effectiveness.
Having worked in a similar role or ready for you next step into Middle Management, you will bring a motivational, target driven approach and drive, to build a dynamic and successful team.
The role sits in the ESOL & English department with specific responsibility for GCSE and Functional Skills English on the Study Programmes in our Vocational areas (young people) and some adult provision. The role also involves teaching delivery hours.
This is a full time position based at Lewisham college starting from 1 August 2019.
To be considered for this role you must be qualified to a degree level or equivalent in the subject area, and be a fully qualified teacher with demonstrable experience working within further education. A management qualification will be an advantage, though not essential.
