Following the creation of Lewisham and Southwark colleges new opportunities have risen in various areas at both colleges.
We are looking to recruit a Head of Supported Learning Faculty at Lewisham College to be responsible for the staff and operational management of all teaching, training and learning delivered within the department and to lead and improve the department's outcomes for learners.
The post holder will be accountable for meeting curriculum performance and associated financial targets in accordance with the College's strategic plan and is expected to participate in the strategic development of a responsive and innovative curriculum, ensuring a mix that meets market and community demands for further and higher education within funding and income constraints.
To be considered for this role you must be qualified to a degree level in a related subject area, and hold a teaching qualification with substantial experience working and managing in an educational context, leading and developing teachers to improve the learner's experience. A post graduate qualification in a relevant discipline will be an advantage, though not essential.
This is a full time position starting in August 2019 reporting to the Principal/Vice Principal.
Some travel to other NCG divisions may be required.
