Careers and Employability Consultant
DGHE is the higher education division of David Game College. Established in 1974 the College is Ofsted inspected and QAA reviewed with a reputation for quality and academic excellence.
With an expanding course portfolio and growing student body we now require an experienced careers advisor to join the DGHE team from September 2019.
We are seeking an enthusiastic individual who will make a significant contribution to the development of the careers service available to the College’s higher education learners. The post-holder will provide a full range of careers guidance activities, including one to one support, workshops and presentations, and will ensure the provision of professional advice and guidance that enhances student employability and success, enabling all students and graduates to make decisions and manage their careers successfully.
The working hours (10 hours/wk) will normally be on 2 days per week from 10am to 3pm (Monday to Friday, term-time only) although there is flexibility in these timings with the opportunity (optional) for additional and/or alternative working hours during some evenings and Saturdays.
You should have a first degree, a professional careers qualification (or be working towards one), or equivalent, and proven experience in delivering careers advice and guidance preferably within higher education.
