This is a fixed term post until 31/07/2020
Hours: 37 hours per week, 40 weeks per year

The overall purpose of this role is to support students with learning difficulties and disabilities to access work placements and progress into paid employment. The successful candidate will actively promote and contribute to the development of the Pre-Supported Internship Programme through the development of external partnerships, internal systems and protocols.
The qualifications deemed essential for the post are a minimum of a relevant Level 3 qualification (e.g. Learning Support/ Counselling / Health and Social Care) and a minimum of a Level 2 qualification in literacy and numeracy (e.g. GCSE English and Maths at grade A*-C).
Please note a Driving Licence is desirable for this post. The ability to converse at ease with members of the public and provide advice in accurate spoken English is also essential for the post.
