The Role

As a lecturer you will be part of a curriculum team, contributing to the growth and development of the Science programmes within the Sixth Form. This includes focusing on retention, achievement and student success alongside pastoral support, curriculum design/development and ensuring a high standard of quality provision is offered. You will teach on A-level and Vocational Science provision and to assume the role of personal tutor to a group of full time students.

What we are looking for

You should possess a UK Honours degree or NARIC recognised degree in a related discipline and a recognised teaching qualification. You should also have a track record of success in teaching examination based Chemistry and the ability to motivate and inspire students. Experience of teaching at Sixth Form Level is desirable

As an individual you will be committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people and vulnerable adults.
