The University Centre Colchester is seeking a talented and inspirational dance lecturer to join a dedicated and experienced team of lecturers and industry practitioners.
The successful applicant will be required to undertake teaching, coaching, directing and tutoring as applicable to their discipline. This includes effective and inspirational teaching of modules on the BA (Hons) Musical Theatre with a focus on dance and fitness training, choreography and involvement in the production of musical theatre performances in local, regional and national venues.
Applicants should have relevant industry experience and a keen interest in working with the next generation of performers. Staff research and knowledge transfer can be supported and developed through research projects within the University Centre Colchester and beyond.
Appropriately qualified, you will have an undergraduate degree in a relevant subject, be able to evidence further postgraduate training, and/or equivalent experience, and demonstrate analytical ability and pedagogical interests as applicable to working in Higher Education.
