Relief Driver

Pembrokeshire College are looking to recruit a Relief Driver who will be responsible for driving staff and learners. The post-holder may also act as relief second driver or courier when required, and will be required to drive various vehicles.   

Hours of Work: As and when required 

Qualifications: Candidates must hold a current UK Driving licence– Category D1 and have a good basic education.   

The successful candidate will be offered work as and when it is available.  This could potentially include evening, early mornings, weekends and/or public holidays. The College will always attempt to give reasonable notice but on occasions drivers maybe asked to work at short notice.

Please note: Successful  candidates will be required to undertake an enhanced DBS check prior to commencing work (this is to be paid for by the individual at a cost of £44).   

With effect from 1st April 2016 all FE Support Workers in Wales are required to register with the Education Workforce Council (EWC), prior to commencing employment (this is to be paid for by the individual  at a cost of £45).
