Lecturer/Assessor in Construction skills

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic individual to teach and assess on a new skills development programme, across a range of Construction disciplines. This role will be working with our student community, Construction employers and other stakeholders to deliver skills development for a new generation of construction employee.

The applicant will have experience of teaching and assessing with industrial experience in the Construction Industry. You must have a minimum of L2 NVQ in a particular trade with the ability to deliver E3 and L1 qualifications across a range of construction occupations; Bricklaying, Plastering, Painting & Decorating, Carpentry & Joinery. It is also expected that you will have a relevant teaching qualification.

You will have excellent communication skills and be able to work both independently and as part of a team.

This post will require working in College, our community and on various construction sites so a full driving licence and access to own transport are essential.
