Fixed Term Contract until 2020

This is an exciting opportunity for an Advanced Practitioner TLA (teaching, learning and assessment) to support our journey to outstanding at Keighley, Harrogate and Leeds City College. As part of a central team, you will provide excellent customer service and support for curriculum departments in delivering the highest quality feedback, assessment and progress tracking for students.

You will be an excellent teacher with a proven record of ‘good or better’ teaching, learning and assessment practice. Responsibilities will include the sharing of best practice, mentoring under performance and embedding technology and tracking systems to maximise assessment and progress. You will have a confident and empathic approach, to mentor colleagues and lead on training and development. You will be the type of person who is really organised, likes systems and tracking and could pass this enthusiasm onto others.

There may be a requirement to deliver teaching in a curriculum department appropriate to your skills and expertise (usually 1 day). As this is a fixed term post, opportunities for secondment can be discussed at interview but only in agreement with the current employer.
