The Agri-tech Research Centre, based at Pershore College, Worcestershire, is seeking to appoint a Research Assistant with significant programming skills. Pershore is 15 minutes off the M5, and within one hour commute from Birmingham.
Working as part of a team, funded by the European Regional Development Fund, you will contribute to the GrowAgri Worcestershire Project that aims to support the development of technology for use in the Agri-tech sector. You will also be involved in other ongoing research linked to the Agri-tech Research Centre. Having an understanding of the horticultural/agricultural sector is beneficial, but not a necessity.
The position is fixed term until July 2021 (with the potential for a 6 month extension) and is full-time, though significant part-time options will also be considered.
