This is an exciting job opportunity for you to join the EAP team at our University of Sussex International Study Centre. You’ll join a friendly and supportive team that has a variety of different teaching experience. Working in the beautiful Sussex Campus, you will be given the chance to teach in modern facilities, delivering our bespoke EAP curriculum.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
In this job, you’ll deliver our EAP module provision, teaching groups across both our Foundation Year (Level 3), International Year 1 (Level 4) and the Pre-Masters (Level 6) programmes. Our class sizes are on average between 10-20 students, giving you the opportunity to be innovative whilst providing an engaging learning experience. You’ll have the opportunity to also assist the students with exam preparation and will have marking responsibilities.
EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS
- You will be a student centred Tutor, with experience teaching EAP in a higher education environment either abroad or in the UK.
- A DELTA or Masters in Applied Linguistics, TESOL, or equivalent is desirable.
- A CELTA and experience are also considered.
- If you have taught on pre-sessional EAP programmes this would be advantageous.
- You’ll be proficient in the use of learning technologies.
