Day Cleaner

We are looking to recruit a permanent, full-time day cleaner to be part of our team at Plumpton College. You will be responsible for the internal and external daily cleaning of the college, residential, office, educational and recreational areas. This practical role requires college areas to be maintained to a high standard of cleanliness as agreed with the Cleaning Supervisor.  On a daily basis the post holder will work to a cleaning schedule and will report any maintenance requirements to the Student Services Manager.

The ideal candidate will be a professional, hardworking and confident team player, with experience of cleaning to a high standard.

This is a full time position, 39 hours per week, working Monday to Friday from 8.00am until 5pm (4pm on Fridays).  As well as a competitive salary, you can also look forward to a great range of benefits including 26 days holiday plus bank holidays (as well as up to 7 efficiency days at Christmas), membership of the Local Government Pension Scheme and free on-site parking. It is essential that you have your own transport due to the location of the role and the hours of work.
