This post offers an exciting opportunity for a Careers Advisor to deliver high quality, impartial careers information, advice and guidance to 16-22 year olds across FE and HE courses supported by a dedicated team of peers. They will work closely with Heads of Careers and HE Student Experience in honing a strategy that aims to achieve full Gatsby ‘Good Careers Guidance’ benchmark compliance for the college, as it enters an ambitious period of developing its careers services to all students.

SGS Careers Services is Matrix accredited and works with 16 secondary school partners as well as serving its own 3,500 16-18 years student cohort and 400 HE students. The successful candidate will split their time equally between HE and FE work. 

Interview Date: Thursday 25 July 2019 

The successful applicant will be required to obtain and maintain a satisfactory Disclosure Certificate, Enhanced with Children’s Barred list check, as a requirement of the job.
