DISE Manager (Diploma in Sporting Excellence)

 Fixed term until July 2021

This is an exciting time for Hartpury, as from September 2018 we became both a university and a college on a single campus; this is an amazing achievement in the history of our institution.  As an institution renowned for excellence in sport, equine, animal and land based curricula, we aim to provide a unique, high quality experience in a focused and supportive environment, challenging our learners in the pursuit of excellence.

DISE is designed for athletes who have the realistic potential to achieve excellence in their chosen sport and are seeking to perform at the highest level. Developed in partnership with National Governing Bodies, DISE gives learners the opportunity to gain a qualification in performing within an elite training and competition environment within their sport to supplement their main academic course.

We are looking for somebody to manage all of the DISE programmes that operate out of Hartpury; overseeing all operations and be accountable for high quality and standards in teaching, learning and assessment.

The successful candidate will be degree educated, teacher trained and have experience working with elite athletes. The relationships with National Governing Bodies are important to ensure high calibre recruitment and maintenance of top quality programmes.

We offer excellent benefits including continuous professional development opportunities, 25 days annual leave entitlement plus bank holidays, onsite fitness facilities, free onsite parking and lots more.

We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expect all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.  We will ensure that all our recruitment and selection practices reflect this commitment.  All successful candidates will be subject to Disclosure and Barring Service checks along with other relevant employment checks.
