0.6 Lecturer in Animal Management

Are you the special person we need to complement our already outstanding team in the Animal Studies Department?

We are seeking lecturers to join an outstanding team teaching a range of animal management courses from Level 3 to Level 6. You will have the ability to teach both practical and theoretical aspects of Animal Management. This will involve classroom based teaching as well as practical skills teaching on our large Animal Care Unit. You will be required to work as part of a motivated and dedicated team committed to students’ well-being and achievement.

The successful applicant will be an enthusiastic member of staff within the Landbased Team, qualified to degree and ideally Masters level, and able to deliver high quality training, teaching, assessment and support to learners across this outstanding department. 

Your job will be to work with both Further and Higher Education learners from Level 3 to Level 6 and to inspire them to reach their goals and achieve success. You will be sensitive to your learners’ needs whilst enabling them to express and reach their true potential.  You will be experienced in motivating young people and adults to achieve the most from their time at College.

Candidates should be innovative and pro-active in their approach to working with learners and have a commitment to further training and development as new initiatives evolve.
