Coventry College is looking to appoint an enthusiastic lecturer who can inspire our learners to achieve their full potential. We recognise that our lecturing staff are integral to the success of the College and student achievement. We currently have an opportunity for an experienced computing lecturer with skills and experience of web development to join us on a full-time basis.
This role involves planning and providing high-quality teaching, as well as taking shared responsibility for the administration of a range of courses and levels delivered throughout the Computing provision.
Candidates will possess a teaching qualification or be willing to work towards, and have recent experience of teaching BTEC Computing within a teaching/training environment up to HND level as a minimum, including the delivery of programming languages.
Coventry College has two campuses (Henley Campus in Bell Green and City Campus located within the City Centre), you must therefore be able to travel between sites as required.
Candidates with a disability will be guaranteed an interview, providing they meet all the essential requirements of the post.
The successful applicant will be required to complete an enhanced DBS check.
The position will commence on 19th August 2019.
