Lecturer - ICT
Coventry College is looking to appoint an enthusiastic lecturer who can inspire our learners to achieve their full potential. We recognise that our lecturing staff are integral to the success of the College and student achievement.
The successful candidate will hold a minimum of a Level 3 qualification in IT and a relevant teaching qualification (or be willing to work towards). A relevant degree would be advantageous.
You will have previous experience of teaching ICT at Level 2 as a minimum, and ideally ICT Functional Skills, although this is not essential. The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate a real enthusiasm for teaching ICT, with an ability to motivate and inspire learners to succeed.
A flexible approach to working hours is essential.
Coventry College has two campuses (Henley Campus in Bell Green and City Campus located within the City Centre), you must therefore be able to travel between sites as required.
Candidates with a disability will be guaranteed an interview, providing they meet all the essential requirements of the post.
The successful applicants will be required to complete an enhanced DBS check.
The position will commence on 19th August 2019.
We are actively committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people and any vulnerable groups within the College community. We value our diverse College community and are actively committed to promoting equality and diversity in all areas of College life. Applications are welcomed from all sections of the community. We expect all our staff and volunteers to share these commitments.
