This is an exciting opportunity to develop your career and join a dynamic team at a brand new college and play a key role in the smooth running of the Learning Resource Centre at New College Bradford.

You will be our front line of support, promoting the Learning Resource Centre to staff and students as an effective centre for independent learning. This will involve arranging for resources to be available, utilising the Library Management System and providing a wide range of other services.   

You should have experience of using a computerised library database, an understanding of library cataloguing and classification systems and a good level of IT skill, along with a customer service approach to work.  This role also works alongside the Finance Team, taking student payments for trips and visits, so some experience of cash handling would be desirable, though not essential.

The working hours will be 35.5 hours per week (8.00am to 4.00pm Mon – Thu, 8.00am – 2pm Fri), term time plus 2 weeks (40 weeks). The start date for this role is 27 August 2019.
