Uxbridge College has excellent facilities for the delivery of our Engineering provision.  You would support and assess Mechanical Engineering apprentices undertaking engineering NVQ qualifications at Levels 2 and 3, primarily off-site in their places of work.  Main responsibilities include monitoring and reviewing students’ progress, complying with all administrative requirements, tracking students’ achievements and ensuring a safe and healthy working environment at all times.  The role will also involve actively developing links with employers to increase opportunities for students’ employment/placement.

You will need to possess a relevant professional qualification (minimum Level 3 in the subject area) and the A1 or D32/33 assessor award.  You should have experience of assessing and also experience gained in the Mechanical Engineering industry.  This post will involve travelling to workplaces in London and surrounding areas and therefore a clean driving licence and own personal transport is required.
