HE Course Manager (Animal Science)

Askham Bryan College is a specialist land-based college based across the North of England.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Course Manager in Animal Science to join our Higher Education Department here in York.  This is a full time, permanent role, working 37 hours per week.

This role will involve working closely with the HE Management Team to drive forward quality and ensure high standards within all elements of the programme. You will plan, prepare and teach to a high standard and whilst developing and improving departmental resources.

The successful candidate will lead on core modules including research methods and statistics teaching across our undergraduate and postgraduate HE provision.  Expertise in animal science, animal health, animal anatomy and physiology or genetics is essential.

Educated to a minimum of Level 7 (or willing to work towards) in a relevant subject (animal science), candidates should hold a teaching qualification or be committed to gaining one in a required time frame. With excellent knowledge of the Higher Education Sector, you will have an ability to lead, prioritise and multitask, with a people and learner centred approach.
