Reduced Year (38 weeks per year)
A Community Job Coach is required to work within the Foundation Studies area to support learners within a hospitality sector who wish to progress into adult social care, community settings or work.
The role is based within a small training/catering kitchen based at Vine, providing lunches to around 20 people per day. Your role will be to coach a small group students with learning difficulties who have a desire to work in a catering environment. You will support learners with meal planning, budgeting and general kitchen skills as well as documenting their progress. The aim is to develop work skills that can be transferred to an employment setting. The successful candidate will be required to obtain a certificate in food hygiene.
