Offering a diverse curriculum within a vibrant and multicultural learning environment, our goal is to deliver excellent and innovative education which supports and inspires every student to achieve their ambitions.

The School of Social Sciences at Leeds City College are seeking to recruit a programme manager to join the English & Maths delivery team. The Programme Manager will work with the Deputy Head of English & Maths and an existing programme manager leading a team of 10 teachers and 6 study support coaches. The successful candidate will be part of a motivated and ambitious team who strive to secure outstanding outcomes for the 728 students studying GCSE English and 836 GCSE maths. 74% of the students are 16-18 year olds and 26% adults. The school also delivers a small number of functional skills to students for whom GCSE is not appropriate. The successful candidate will thrive on seeing students make progress in incremental steps towards their target grades and adopt a restorative approach to engaging with students in their studies. The successful candidate will have experience of delivering English and or maths at any age phase and be confident in supporting colleagues to develop their English & or maths pedagogy.
