An exciting opportunity has emerged at the Maidstone Campus of MidKent College where we are seeking to recruit an enthusiastic and innovative Lecturer in Construction.

The ideal candidate should have experience of working within the Higher Education sector and teaching at levels 4-6.

The post requires a minimum of a degree or equivalent in Construction and a teaching qualification, or a willingness to undertake to the required national standard.

Midkent College welcome applications from individuals currently or recently in industry who are looking to change their future career. If you do not currently hold a teaching qualification we can support you to gain recognised teaching status.

You should have the ability to teach core Construction Management, Contract and Procurement, Measurement, CAD, Structural Analysis and Design, Site Surveying, Safety in Construction, Construction Management, Building Construction, Analytical Methods, Tendering and Estimating, Q.S, the Urban Environment, Law and Contracts, Refurbishment and Maintenance among possible options you will deliver as part of a team.

You will be expected to deliver high-quality, practice-led teaching at undergraduate level. Applicants should have significant experience within the construction industry and experience of working on university validated provision.

MidKent College offers a range of HE Provision across Construction, Engineering, ICT and Business. We offer support in relocation, training in both teaching and expanding your vocational knowledge and you will be based at our HE facility in Maidstone.
