Lecturer Engineering

We are looking to appoint an Engineering Lecturer to join our Engineering department at Redcar and Cleveland College.

This is an exciting new post and an excellent opportunity to join the existing team, for the ideal candidate with relative industrial experience; the college will provide support in working towards a recognised teaching qualification.

You will deliver and assess a variety of applied theoretical and practical elements of in Engineering

(Levels 2 – 5) and typical subjects may include;

• Mechanical and /or Electrical Principles
• Health and Safety
• Computer Aided Design

Applications are welcome from a range of disciplines, such as Mechanical, Electrical and Manufacturing.

You will be required to provide a supportive and professional environment that will aid the development of individual and groups of learners. You will be expected to be organised with excellent time management and administrative skills, have the ability to build positive relationships, displaying excellent communication, organisational skills and demonstrating a flexible and professional attitude.

The role is to support ongoing absences within the department and this is an ideal opportunity for a high performing individual to work within a successful college.
