We are currently looking for an enthusiastic and experienced person to join our Music Technology department. You will be required to work with students at FE level and supporting the music team across the full range of provision, both in the preparation of learning resources and in the delivery of course content. We are particularly interested to hear from applicants with a background in studio management and music producing. A degree or experience working with industry software is essential. You will have a high level of interpersonal, motivational, communication and organisation skills.

Applicants will most likely have industry experience of being a practicing musician as well as having a relevant qualification in the subject area. You will be working with an experienced team to assist them in preparing materials for the learning environment, ordering equipment, booking out and maintaining equipment, and organising the facilities within the department. You will frequently work alongside lecturers, providing workshops and demonstrations for the students, and delivering elements of course content alongside the team.

You will need to be highly organised and flexible in your approach to work. You will enjoy a challenge, and ideally have experience of working within a team. You should have a passion for working with people of all ages, especially young adults and school leavers.

Ideally you will have teaching or training experience. A commitment to student learning and attainment is essential.
