HCUC, a merger between Harrow College and Uxbridge College, provides high quality Further Education in in West London. We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced recruitment professional to join our busy HR team based in Uxbridge, with a requirement to travel to our other sites in Harrow and Hayes. Reporting to the HR Director, you will co-ordinate all aspects of the College’s recruitment process, from advertising of vacancies through to on-boarding of new starters. The role will involve guiding and advising managers, ensuring compliance with policies, and ensuring best practice is followed at all stages of the recruitment cycle.
You will need to have adequate experience gained in a busy recruitment role, and will have the ability to manage a high volume of work and conflicting priorities under pressure, whilst maintaining a strong focus on quality. Experience of recruitment and selection, including interviewing, is required, together with strong planning and organisational skills, and good IT skills including the use of databases/systems. The ability to communicate with people at all levels of the organisation is a key requirement of the role, together with the ability to delegate effectively and supervise the work of others.
