Newcastle College University Centre is looking to recruit an enthusiastic, experienced and highly motivated individual to work within the central higher education team. You will lead on the promotion of staff and student research engagement and drive the successful delivery of University Centre research projects. You must be a confident communicator (verbal and written), a highly capable data analyst and evaluator, and hold experience of project management within higher education contexts.

The role will involve working closely with higher education students, the University Centre central team, academic staff and external professional bodies and networks to promote and enhance our culture of research and scholarship.

You will lead a team to:

  • Identify, develop and deliver a successful suite of research development training for staff and students.
  • Deliver projects and/or data mapping that align with our student experience, access and participation, and graduate outcomes agendas.

You will champion the Student as Producer (or equivalent student engagement) initiatives cross-College and be an ambassador for sharing good practice for HE.

This role is part-funded by the Office for Student Local Graduate project. As such, your duties will involve leading on the project management, implementation and evaluation of our Stay and Succeed North East project.
