Part Time: 14.8 hours per week.

To work as part of an energetic, enthusiastic and supportive team of English and maths staff, we are looking for suitable candidates to deliver GCSE English to a range of Sport and Applied Science learners.

Main responsibilities will include planning and delivering a range of TLA (teaching, learning and assessment) methods which engage the learners and provide direct links with their area of curriculum study. The candidate will have an enthusiastic attitude towards delivering English, and ideally have strong TEL (Technology enhanced learning) knowledge base which can be used to create innovative sessions.

Wider responsibilities will include marking, tracking and monitoring learners work to provide meaningful feedback and ensure progression, and the candidate should also be able to manage administration duties such as attendance and safeguarding.

As this is a part time role, the actual salary (based on the lowest point of the salary scale) will be approximately: £10,540 PA (gross).
