Hartpury College of Further Education is a leading sports and land-based residential college, which has been, graded ‘Outstanding’ by Ofsted in May 2018. The overall effectiveness of leadership and management, the quality of teaching, learning and assessment and the 16-19 study programmes all received the highest grade from Ofsted.

We are seeking to appoint a highly enthusiastic and self-motivated lecturer who will teach and tutor across our BTEC Level 3 Physical Education and Coaching, Sports Science and Fitness programmes. You will also be expected to deliver a recreational sports club one afternoon per week to enrich the student experience.

You will be expected to deliver exceptional teaching which will assist students to achieve excellent results. You will be able to inspire students to appreciate and enjoy all aspects of sport, instilling in them a passion for the subject and a desire to develop their understanding.

The successful candidate will hold or be working towards a teaching qualification. You will also have strong communication and administrative capabilities. Experience of delivering Sport within the further education sector would be advantageous but is not essential.
