HE Lecturer Film and Screen Media

We are looking for a Lecturer to join our Higher Education Film and Screen Media team within the Creative Arts department at University Centre Leeds, based at our new Quarry Hill Campus opening in September 2019. Film and Screen Media is a new and vibrant degree programme covering traditional filmmaking, motion design and media for emerging technologies.

The successful applicant will have excellent practical skills and be passionate about working with students. As a key member of an expanding team they will have input into developing the programme as it grows. The role will involve teaching students at levels 4, 5, 6, leading modules, and setting up projects with clients / organisations. We welcome applicants with both a background in education or with relevant industry experience.

Main responsibilities will include planning, preparing and developing effective schemes of work, lesson plans, teaching and learning resources including the development of online learning resources for identified modules.  You will deliver inspiring sessions across the curriculum using a wide range of teaching methods.
