Assessor / Lecturer In Health & Social Care

About the Role

Due to the continued expansion of our College apprenticeship provision, an exciting opportunity has arisen to join our Business Development Centre to support the delivery of our Health & Social Care Apprenticeships.  You will teach on our Health & Social Care apprenticeship programmes, which includes Levels 2 and 3 Health Apprenticeships, working with the NHS to deliver relevant courses ensuring the attainment of relating to enrolment, retention and timely success. The ideal candidate will have as a minimum a level 3 qualification in health and social care combined with teaching experience at Level 1-3 in Nursing or Health and Social Care related subjects. A Cert Ed or equivalent is also desirable. Experience of delivering and assessing competence-based training in the workplace and college environment is essential. Possession of an A1 and V1 Assessor Award is desirable.

Specialist Knowledge and Experience

Possesses sufficient depth of specialist knowledge in Health & Social Care to train and assess on a range of established programmes. Demonstrates appropriate knowledge of NVQs in Health and Social care.
