This exciting position will form part of our Active Industries School where team members deliver a range of Sport and Public Service subjects to ambitious students.

As a Learning Coach for the football academy, you will be supporting the development of the football curriculum area, based upon your skills and experience. You will also be sharing best practice and knowledge across the School.

The academy was formed as a full time program in 2011 and provides students with the opportunity to progress academically whilst also providing a full time training environment link to football, which will help them in their careers whether within their sport or develop them towards Higher Education and Employability.

Milton Keynes College Football Academy Programme offers Performance and Excellence sports courses from Level 2 through to Level 3, and cover a wide range of subjects. From September 2019 students will also be able to study a BA (Hons) Football Studies

We run three tier teams which are; the elite, elite shadow and development squads which help cater for all ability levels studying on a level 2, level 3 or higher education programme. Our elite squad play in a National Premier League (Category 1) and Midlands U21s Leagues. Our development squad play in ECFA Category 2 and Tactics League and finally our participation play in friendly games against local schools and sixth forms.

We are particularly focused on expanding our Higher Education offer within the football academy and our Female Football Academy squad, and therefore would particularly welcome applicants with these specialisms. Another exciting opportunity for the Football Academy is the move to a new training centre at Sport Central for August pre-season onwards.
