Quality Lead

East Sussex College Group (ESCG) is the result of the merger of Sussex Coast College and Sussex Downs College - it is a new era in education for the county. From Hastings, Eastbourne, Newhaven and Lewes, we’ll deliver real-world skills for a changing world and boost local businesses, communities and families.

In this role you will drive up quality improvement (QI) as measured by key performance indicators so that the ESCG is a top performing college.

The post of Quality Lead would suit an outstanding teacher who is looking to move into a role where they can share their knowledge, experience and best practice with teaching staff.  You will have the capability to support, coach and mentor new and existing teaching staff to drive up standards across the college.

Successful candidates will ensure that the college’s continuous QI programme is highly effective, by promoting and supporting outstanding teaching, learning and assessment and will efficiently deploy Teaching & Learning Coaches to develop and support continuous quality improvement, to ensure that quality systems and processes are rigorously adhered to across the ESCG.

Applicants need to have successful teaching experience and a sound understanding of what constitutes good and outstanding teaching.
